Finding the pier
The boat waits at Rådhusbrygge 2, just before Piren restaurant. Plan to be there a quarter of an hour before the cruise starts so that coats, bags and your whole party are aboard together.
Coming aboard
The boat is 100% electric, with panoramic windows, an outside deck and saloons that keep a steady temperature. Coat hangers are provided for use when you arrive.
On the water
The route passes the Oslo Opera House, Akershus Fortress and the new Munch Museum, and it goes through the islands past historic, colourful houses. Each landmark looks its best from the water.
Dinner
Three courses from the chefs of Restaurant Einer are served while you sail, with dessert as the finish. The menu is seasonal and pescatarian, and a vegetarian version is available on request.
The music
Live music is part of the cruise. Guests mention a pianist on the lower deck and describe the sound as peaceful, never loud.
Dates and times
The cruise lasts 2.5 hours, and starting times appear when you check availability for a date. The skyline changes as the sun sets and the lights come on, and the hour you sail decides how much of that you see.
