Check the sailing, not just the day

Starting times show when you pick a date on GetYourGuide. An evening that begins in daylight and ends in the dark is a different cruise from one that is dark throughout, so choose the time with that in mind.

Sunset is not promised

The skyline changes as the sun sets and the lights turn on. Nobody can promise a colourful sunset on a given night, and in winter the sun sets early.

Cold weather

A guest who sailed in late October found it cold outside and warm and cosy inside, with fresh coffee. The saloons are temperature-controlled and the outside deck is optional.

Warm weather

One guest in April had good weather and enjoyed the top deck. Another, in July, found the inside cabin quite hot, so if you sail in summer, spend time on the deck.

Quiet months

A November guest noted that few groups were aboard, which they felt added to the quality of the service and the experience.

Layers

A light jacket for the deck is a safe choice in any month, and coat hangers are available when you board.
